Shira holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University and a Master of Social Work from New York University. She served on the board of the Hudson Valley Direct Marketing Association and is a member of the Direct Marketing Association and the Fulfillment Marketing Association. She received the Creative Excellence award from Women in Direct Marketing International.
